for he did not have one

i suggested
buddhism
and his eyes lit up
he said "i'll take it"

a religion
being sold
for free
at full retail value

i ask you
to endow me
with a pre-fabricated
set of beliefs

does god smile
on evil-doers
who pick the right
label for their beliefs?

does heaven allow
the care-free
hindu
through its gates?

i believe
that people
should stop BELIEVING
and start THINKING
